my theory is hitboxes since ufos change hitbox and i have a very similar glitch which instead uses the slope which makes your hitbox smaller, these hitbox changes can change your spawn position, i had this level called slope spawn glitch which uses that slope tech

i discovered a big clip that involves a ufo from another level so basically hop into a level with a ufo and ride the ufo (join that level but instead race a ghost so you dont hop servers) then you can go to this level and then race the ghost then when you are in the level you can hold right which skips a pretty big chunk
