Kind-of Working AND Gate

There are two hidden blocks (change them to bricks to make a NOR gate). Hit either or both of them, then hit the ON-OFF block. Then go to the end (don't touch the star). If you hit both, the NPC can go to the end. If you can figure out how to make the NPC trigger something, or replace it with another object that can, please let me know!
